‘GET OUT’ is a refracted image of Michéle Lamy, as an attempt at making visual art from the emotion of words – so instead of beginning with a person or object, language is the starting point.
She has a wonderful ways with words and we covered many things during our time together, which could not have been more welcoming and warm, sharp and revealing. GET OUT was her final words to me, with a twinkle in her eye and a glint in her most enigmatic of faces.
